SIMPLE ICE CREAM.

METHODS

Orange milkshake
Use orange squesh in flavouring syrup and vanilla ice cream. Top with sliced oranges and blend until a light fluid is obtained. Skimmed milk or fresh oranges can be used.
Nkwobi Soup
Ing:-
Meat: i.e Cow leg or any Part as desired Ugba, Red oil, salt. Potash, ehuru(spice) Maggi
Preparation:-
Boil the meat at least for 45 minutes allow to cool down, pound or grind pepper and the ehuru together, then pour little warm water into a pot add potash and oil stir. Pour the meat into the pot in which you have prepared the oil and potash add the grinded pepper and ehnru add ugba and maggi and salt to taste then stir it very well.
Gbegiri soup
Ing:-
Beans. Onions. Potash. Seasoning. Salt. Water. Pepper. Palm oil.
Preparation:-
Soak the beans in a bo I of watet. Wash out the shaft and pour into a pot. Cook for about 20 minutes. Use a short strong neat broom to mash it till soft Add the onions, seasoning, pepper and palm oil and allow to steam for 10 minutes. Add salt to taste.
Coconut Rice
Ing:-
Rice. Fresh tomatoes. Coconut. Sauce. Fresh shrimps. Seasoning. Onion. Meat. Salt and pepper.
Preparation:-
Boil the coconut sauce for about 10 minutes, add cooked meat shrimps, salt, seasoning, chopped tomatoes, onion and fresh pepper. Add the parboiled rice. Allow to dry a little, then add the boiled coconut sauce. Cook the rice till tender, then reduce the heat and simmer till the water is dried up.
TOMATOES SALAD
Ing:-
Parsley, lettuce, vinaigretter, onions, tomatoes.
Preparation:-
Slice the parsly, onions, tomatoes, lettuce and mix together. Pour the vinaigrettes into the above mixture.
English cake roll
Ing:-
3 eggs, 1 cup of granulated suger, cup of water, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, ¾ cup of all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, ¾ teaspoon of salt, ¾ cup of orange or lemon jelly.
Preparation:-
Beat egg in a small bowl on high speed until thick. Pour eggs into larger mixer bowl. Beat in granulated suger gradually. Beat in water and vanilla on low speed, add flour, baking powder and salt-gradually. Beat until better is smooth, then pour into a pan. Bake until wooden pick inserted in centre comes out clean. Immediately loosen cake from edges of pan. Invert on towel sprinkled generously with powdered suger. Carefully remove foil. Trim off the stiff edges if necessary.
While hot, carefully roll cake and towel from narrow end. Cool on wire rack at least for 30 minutes. Unroll cake cover jelly with tea whipped cream, roll up, sprinkle with powdered suger. Refrigerate and serve.
